The rolled cathode/anode electrodes are loaded into the unwinding mechanism. Driven by power traction, the sheets are fed into a set of cutting blades arranged according to process specifications for slitting. The upper and lower rewinding mechanisms collect the slit electrodes into separate rolls, while the edge trimmings are collected by the edge material recovery mechanism.
