Vacuum Pre-sealing and Second Sealing Integrated Machine

1. Vacuum Pre-Sealing:

The movable upper chamber and the chamber base plate form a sealed cavity. A vacuum is applied to the cavity to create a negative pressure. When the vacuum reaches the set value, the sealing head acts on the packaging material (aluminum-laminated film) of the lithium battery through thermal conduction, heating and softening it to a near-melting state, thereby bonding the layers together.

2. Vacuum Secondary Sealing:

The movable upper chamber and the chamber base plate form a sealed cavity. A piercing needle punctures the gas bag, while a flat pressure plate presses down on the main body of the battery to flatten it. Then, the sealed cavity is evacuated to create a negative pressure. When the vacuum reaches the set value, the sealing head acts on the packaging material (aluminum-laminated film) through thermal conduction, heating and softening it to a near-melting state, thereby bonding the layers together.

3. This equipment is primarily designed for vacuuming and hot-press sealing of pouch cells after electrolyte filling and standing. The sealing head is made of brass, which offers good heat transfer, reduces power consumption, and improves work efficiency, resulting in energy savings compared to similar products.

4. The movable upper chamber, sealing head, piercing needle assembly, and flat pressure plate are all driven by pneumatic cylinders. Linear bushing guides ensure flexible and accurate vertical movement, guaranteeing the sealing edge requirements for the product.

5. Incoming batteries are placed at a 45° inclined angle (with the gas bag facing upwards).

1. All incoming batteries are placed at a 45° inclined position.

2. (Second Sealing) Piercing needle puncture function to extract excess gas from the battery.

3. (Second Sealing) Battery main body flat pressure plate function to flatten the battery main body and expel gas.

4. Equipment and electrical cabinet designed as separate units (due to height limitations inside the glove box).

5. The sealing head pressure is adjustable via a pressure regulating valve to meet different process parameter requirements.
